Ingredients

  1. Chicken (Boneless) - 500 grams
  2. Bell pepper (Yellow, red, green)- ½ cup 
  3. Red Chili powder- 1.5 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  5. Cumin seeds powder- 1 tsp
  6. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
  8. Aamchur powder- ½ tsp
  9. Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
  10. Kasuri methi- 1 tsp
  11. Lemon- ½ slice
  12. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  13. Ghee- ½ tbsp
  14. Salt - As per taste 

Directions

  1. Take 500 grams of boneless chicken and wash it thoroughly. Then cut it into small pieces.
  2. Wash the bell peppers and dice it into small cubical pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, add chicken pieces, and combine- red chili powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder, ginger- garlic paste, Garam masala powder, amchur powder, kasuri methi, salt and ½ squeezed lemon juice. 
  4. Add ½ tsp of ghee along with chopped bell peppers.
  5. Mix it well until all ingredients are well coated.
  6. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180° C for 15 mins
  8. Take the stainless steel oven grill plate. 
  9. Grease it with little ghee and place your marinated chicken and diced bell peppers. 
  10. Bake it at 200° C for 10 mins. 
  11. Check on your chicken and bell peppers. Once it is ready, remove from the oven.
  12. Serve the hot chicken tikka with home-made mint chutney
